and what it means to patient care.
Client Services: Timely Response to your Calls
Our in-house Client Service Specialists are available to answer your calls in a professional and courteous manner. With access to our clinical and medical experts, Client Service Specialists help you take full advantage of all our laboratory services. We are committed to a timely response to your questions – generally within an hour of receiving your request.
Field Service: Education and Training
Our dedicated team of Field Service Representatives are responsible for educating clinic staff on every aspect of our services. In addition to LabCheck, our ordering and reporting system, we will train your staff on processing, handling, packing and shipping of specimens to ensure specimen integrity during transport.
Our Field Service Representatives are professionals with dialysis experience and degrees in nursing, social work and nutrition.
Facility Set-up: LabCheck
Technicians ensure your system is running and problem-free upon set-up. Phone support is available after set-up to assist with any problems. Satellite Laboratory Services provides a computer, printers (report and label) and broadband access to LabCheck. Additional
facility computers, that meet system requirements, may also access LabCheck.
System Requirements
LabCheck works with Microsoft Windows 2000 or Windows XP operating systems, Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher and Adobe Acrobat
Reader 6.0.1. Acrobat Reader can be downloaded for free from Adobe.
Additional facility computers may need to be configured to meet network and firewall requirements of the facility. Satellite Laboratory Services personnel are available to assist system administrators with this.
Courier Services
A network of couriers ensures regular pick-up and transport of specimens from your clinic to the laboratory. Shipping supplies, including packing material, are provided and extensive tracking of specimens occurs not only during transport, but at the laboratory as well.
Billing
Our billing system is current with all Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) required regulations. All billing personnel have experience
in CMS and insurance billing policy and procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements. Each clinic is assigned their own billing representative for personalized attention.
